Factory Reset

  1. Remove SD Card
  2. Erase SD Card Contents
  3. Copy the 2 text files below into the root of the SD Card
  4. cal.txt & no_shutdown.txt
  5. Insert SD Card into GoPro Hero 4 Session
  6. The GoProHero 4 Session Should Self Power On
  7. In Not Press Red Circle Button (Record)
  8. Wait a Couple of Minutes For Factory reset to Occur
  9. It will ask if you want to Format SD Card Select Yes (Otherwise Boot Loop)

WiFi Reset

  1. Remove DS Card
  2. Press and Hold for 10 Seconds (i) /WiFi Button
  3. Press Red Circle Button (Top)

Pairing

  1. Press (i) /WiFi Button (Back) x 3
  2. Select Control App
  3. PIN Should Be Displayed
  4. On Phone Find WiFi AP GXXXXXXXXX
  5. Join GP XXX Network default password: goprohero
  6. Go into GoPro App and select Add Camera
  7. Enter PIN [Pair]
  8. Supply Camera Name and Passowrd
  9. Reconnect to New WiFi AP (Camera Name)
